What I find really annoying is that Orlyval – the fully automated shuttle service between Antony and the two terminals at Orly – starts and stops operating later and earlier than when flights do at the airport. If you want to get an early morning flight on, say, a Monday morning, and you’re coming from the southern suburbs you have to get there by your own means. There’s the same problem late at night when you come in on a low cost flight – you find yourself walking along endless corridors going from one terminal to the other, only to find that there’s no Orlyval service available to Antony. These are typically the times when it’s needed and I’m sure airport staff would be more than glad to use it too. I also wish that passengers coming from Paris to Antony were informed that the entrance to the Orlval is right at the back end of the platform. Every time, while I’m waiting on the south bound platform at Antony to continue my journey further down the line, I am being constantly asked where it is. The signs on the platform are woefully inadequate.
